Overview

Virtuoso violinist Ara Malikian presents in his new world tour, Intruder, a deeply personal journey marked by identity, emotion, and multiculturalism.

The show reflects the trajectory of an artist who never fit into a single place or label—Lebanese of Armenian origin, a citizen of the world—and who transformed this feeling of displacement into a celebration of cultural diversity.

In Intruso, each note is charged with feeling and discovery, revealing the power of music as a universal language. An exciting and unmissable concert that invites the audience to explore new sounds, emotions, and boundaries through art.

Ara Malikian, a virtuoso violinist of Lebanese origin and Armenian descent, made music his refuge and vital compass. Born in Beirut in 1968, his childhood was marked by the Lebanese civil war, which forced him to seek shelter in melody while studying in basements and air-raid shelters. Despite the adversities, his innate talent shone brightly, captivating everyone around him.

At just 12 years old, Ara Malikian gave his first major concert, leaving the audience astonished by his virtuosity. At 14, his destiny took an unexpected turn when conductor Hans Herbert-Jöris, impressed by his talent, awarded him a scholarship from the German government to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover. Later, he honed his skills at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, where he received guidance from some of the world's most renowned masters.

Ara Malikian's career has been a meteoric rise. At 15, he recorded his first album in Spain and, since then, has collaborated with renowned artists on stages such as the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and Luna Park in Argentina, among others. His unique style, which blends diverse musical genres with a singular sensibility, has made him one of the most internationally acclaimed violinists.
