About
In 1962, the Grand Théâtre de Genève acquired a permanent ballet company, made up of 22 artists and which offers two original choreographic shows per season. Collaborating with internationally renowned choreographers, the Ballet has been directed since season 22–23 by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. World premieres always take place in Geneva, before touring the rest of the season outside Swiss borders: France, Italy, United States, Russia, Australia, China, Brazil, South Africa...
