Josep Miquel Mindán Seuba, born in Igualada on October 28, 1983, began his musical studies at the Igualada Music School at the age of five. Later, he graduated as a teacher specializing in music education at the UAB. He has studied coral conducting at ESMUC. During this period he has worked with: Mireia Barrera, Josep Vila and Johan Duijck. In 2008 he began his studies at the Wien Konservatorium Privat Universität in Vienna where he worked with Georg Mark, David Aronson and Guido Mancusi. He completed his training with Masterclass of Pier Cao, Jordi Mora, Antoni Ros Marbà, Alexander Joel and Manuel Hernàndez Silva.
He has been the director of the choir for productions: Le Nozze di Figaro 2008, Die Zauber Flöte 2009, Suor Angelica 2010 and Dialogue des Carmelites 2011. The closure of his studies in Vienna was held on May 14, 2012 with a concert at the Radiokulturhaus with the Slowakisches Philarmonie Orchestra where you get the highest marks.
He has directed, among others, the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Ciudad de Elche Orchestra, the Wien Konservatorium Privat Universität Orchestra, the Slowakisches Philarmonie, the Girona Orchestra, the Wiener Tonkunsvereingung, the Neues Atelier Wien, the orchestra of the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona and the OTEM (Land Land Orchestra) with which it has a close professional relationship. In the coral field he has directed the Wiener KammerChor as an assistant, the Anton Bruckner Choir of Barcelona, the EXAUDIO Girl Choir, the Public Choram of Vienna and the Corazón Albada of the Cor Madrigal group.
He is currently the musical conductor of the Anoia Young Symphonic Orchestra, conducts the orchestras and choirs of the municipal music school of Mollerussa, the choir Contrapunto Vocale and is assistant to Xavier Puig at the Ginesta choir. He also works as a guest conductor with several orchestral shows both in Spain and abroad.
